BMS:身、心、靈的三重構成
在瑜伽哲學與印度傳統中,「自我」並非僅限於身體或心理層面,而是由以下三個相互交織的元素組成:
– Body(身):物理身體(deha 或 annamaya kosha),是我們在物質世界的載具。透過體位法(asanas),我們淨化與強化身體,讓它成為靈性修練的穩定基礎。
– Mind(心):心智或意識(manas、buddhi、chitta),包括思想、情緒、感知與自我感(ahamkara)。瑜伽強調止息心識的波動(chitta vritti nirodhah),讓心智從散亂轉為專注與清明。
– Spirit(靈):靈性本質或真我(atman、purusha),即超越身體與心智的純粹覺知或意識。這是永恆、不變的核心,與宇宙至高實相(Brahman)相連。
這三者並非孤立,而是形成一個整體。當它們失衡時,我們會感受到分裂、壓力或迷失;當它們透過瑜伽連結時,便能達到和諧與統一。
瑜伽作為連結三者的橋樑
瑜伽(yoga)源自「yuj」,意為「連結」或「結合」,正如您先前所說,它是**連結**(link): - 它將身體作為入口(透過姿勢與呼吸),平息心智的波動(透過冥想與專注),最終揭示靈性真我。 - 在古典八支瑜伽(Ashtanga Yoga)中,前四支(yama、niyama、asana、pranayama)主要處理身與心的準備;後四支(pratyahara、dharana、dhyana、samadhi)則引導心智向內,通往靈性吸收(samadhi)。 - 許多現代與傳統解釋都將瑜伽描述為「身、心、靈的合一」(union of body, mind, and spirit),這是通往更高覺醒的實際途徑。
透過這種整合,瑜伽不僅帶來身體健康或心智平靜,更指向深刻的轉化:從認同「我是身體/我是思緒」的有限自我,轉向認識真正的靈性本質。
